Overview

During my time at Square, I worked as a Product Design Lead on multiple teams focused on improving the seller and merchant experience. Specifically, I worked on projects related to inventory management, product cataloging, 2FA security best practices, and item categorization. As product designers at Square, we conducted a lot of our own research and ran user testing to inform our designs and ensure that they met the needs of our users.

Solutions

To improve the platform's user experience, I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams and developed innovative solutions that aligned with business goals. I focused on creating user-centric designs that were intuitive, easy to use, and improved customer satisfaction. Through my work on the Catalog, Accounts, and Seller Profile teams, I conducted extensive user research and incorporated user feedback into my designs. This helped me to develop solutions that met the needs of Square's sellers and merchants.

Results

As a result of my contributions, the Commerce Platform Design team was able to deliver high-quality products that were well-received by Square's sellers and merchants. My work on improving the platform's user experience helped increase customer satisfaction and drive business growth. The user research and testing that I conducted helped to ensure that our designs were successful and met the needs of our users. Overall, I am proud of the work I did at Square and believe that it showcases my ability to design user-centered experiences that meet business needs.
